Flying South!

Well, early Monday morning mommy and daddy are taking me on my 2nd plane trip and this time we're going to Alabama! I can't wait to see all my family! There's so many of them that I haven't met yet! I can't wait! And since we're flying on daddy's birthday I'll try to be sweet and quiet on the plane for him:)

This weekend mommy surprised daddy with a really big joint-surprise 30th birthday party! Mommy and Cherie and Colleen and Sara rented a luxury suite at Petco Park for a Padres game! And I had my first ever babysitter, Miss Joanne. She was very sweet and we had fun, but I'm glad mom and dad came home:)

My First 4th!

Happy late 4th of July! I had a great long, long weekend with daddy! Unfortunately, mom forgot her camera on 4th of July, but we have lots of other photos from the weekend. We got to hang out a bunch with the Ceci's in Coronado and then on Saturday mom and dad took me to Cabrillo Nat'l Park to see some pieces that mommy designed for them. It was a pretty good view of SD too!

My 1st day at the beach!

Daddy had the day off so we went to the beach! I got to see him surf a little while mommy and I played in the sand:) Daddy took me down to put my feet in the water and it was CHILLY! But what a beautiful day! I can't wait until I'm big enough to hop on dad's board and go surfing with him! Maybe in Florida... I hear the water is warmer there:) We also met up with Uncle Shad and Aunt Mandy and Garen and Alyssa too! It's the first time I met them, but I sure heard a lot about them! Garen's going to teach me to wakeboard someday! Well, here are some photos of us from today! Enjoy!

6 month check up!

Yes, I am 6 months old! I have a tooth, I can roll over and I just started low crawling. I am unstoppable!

I saw my Dr Park today and she's says mommy and daddy have their hands full! I'm eating all kinds of baby food and a lot of momma's milk still, but Dr Park says I'm too active and mom and dad need to load me up with 3 solid meals a day complete with MEAT! Woohoo! I've grown an inch, but haven't put on a single ounce! (27 inches and 15.2 pounds) Which still puts me in the 70th and 40th percentiles, so we're doing okay. Dr Park's explanation is that I'm eating for a 6 month old with 8-9 month old activity levels and I just need a little more fuel to burn!

Daddy's back from the desert and taught me to low crawl the other day! I love having daddy home:) Mommy took the time while daddy was away to put me on a good schedule so now I'm getting plenty of nap time and plenty of active time and I go to bed around 7 and sleep for 11 or 12 hours. I'm much happier now that I know what to expect! I miss all my family back on the east coast and down south, but not to worry! I'll see you all soon! Mommy & daddy are taking me on my 2nd plane ride and this time we're going to Alabama to Granny & Paw Paw and Uncle B! We leave on daddy's birthday (July 28)... daddy will be 30! That's really old! But I love him anyway:)

I have a tooth!

That's right! My first tooth popped through yesterday! I can't wait to start chewing on some real food! Mom and dad started me on baby food a few weeks ago too! So far my favorites are green beans and peas! I get to try fruit next week!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

I just wanted to wish my mommy a happy birthday today! Daddy and I already sent her to the spa for a massage and facial this weekend and daddy still brought her home a nice, yummy cheesecake to celebrate tonight. I kept her very busy today with rolling around and squirming all over the place but my very own gift to mommy was not waking her up last night! I think I'll try it again tonight:)
