Trick or Treat?

Well, here's a little glimpse of our weekend. We went to a Halloween/costume party, obviously. Since there are serious restrictions on what a pregnant gal can go as, pregnant Prom Queen and ageing star jock seemed to work well for us! Enjoy!

By the way, baby is great and we've got 7 weeks left!

32 weeks along!

Only 8 more weeks to go! We had another check up today and baby and momma are doing very well! Baby Dane has moved head down and is in position to get out! His heart rate is a solid 152 bpm and he's about as active as he can be! Mom is measuring right on target and is looking forward to some pretty crazy weight gain in the coming weeks. Average is a pound a week until delivery! Should be fun.

The nursery is still in progress, but is looking pretty good so far! We can't wait to see our little one in there:) All in all we're mostly ready for little Dane to come! Just a few more weeks.....

Mommy Update: I'm thrilled that everything is going so well, I just wish he'd be here sooner than 8 weeks! I've been sleeping a lot more lately although his kicks really haven't slowed down, even through the night. Looks like we have a night owl! Rib kicks and contractions are a little more common now, but I'll get over it:)

30 weeks today!

Yes, we have hit 30 weeks today and are now 3/4 finished with the pregnancy and Dane is only 10 weeks away! Nothing new to report other than the fact that this child doesn't sleep. While spooning this morning baby Dane kicked dad in the back (through mom's belly) causing dad to wake up. Mom slept soundly. Everyone now is very anxious for this little kicker to come out and make his debut! Soccer player? Swimmer? Kickboxer? Who knows. But we're looking forward to finding out:) The nursery is coming along and soon there will be a giant wave on one wall! Our little surfer will have a great little surfer room!

Mommy Update: My appetite is crazy! Between 9 and 10 pm I MUST have something sweet for the world to keep spinning on it's axis. Otherwise, chaos ensues and life as we know it could be changed forever. I'm not kidding. Stop laughing. All in all, I can't complain. I've been blessed with a surprisingly easy pregnancy! I can only hope that everything after the delivery is as pleasant! Oh, and I'm huge and can feel him growing bigger every single day cutting off my air supply!

30 weeks! (Mike is actually here to take the photo, but why break tradition!)

Oh yeah, my shirts no longer cover my belly!
